Reorder PDF Pages on Your Device
Order is the difference between a folder and a pack. The request, the evidence, and the certificates need to appear in the sequence a reader expects. InHousePDF lets you move a whole document or a single page, then download. Up and Down are always available, so a keyboard or a phone does not depend on dragging. Dragging works with a mouse as well.
A reliable sequence
Add the PDFs. Each file shows its pages. Move file up and Move file down shift that document as a block. Up and Down on a page move that page one step, including across documents if you want a page to sit somewhere else. Delete removes a blank or a duplicate. Undo puts it back. The download follows the order on screen.
Do this before you write an index by hand. If you use the pack builder, the contents page and the CSV are generated from the order you leave in the list, so you should finish reordering first. Numbers already printed on an old letter do not change when you move the page. Stamped numbers are a separate step. Rotate sideways pages before you treat the order as final, because a turned page can change how a footer sits.
Why this stays local
Reordering feels harmless and is easy to hand to a website. The website still receives every page in order to return them rearranged. Add the files here instead. The proof panel records requests during the download. Expected result: none. File names appear on screen because you need to see them. They are not sent in an analytics event. A saved template, if you use the pack builder, stores section titles and settings, not these file names.
If you are preparing papers for a review, an audit, a submission, or a handover, the same reorder buttons apply. That does not mean the order you chose meets someone else’s checklist. Follow the instructions you were given, then bind the PDFs.
Check the file before you send it
Download the pack and open it on the same device. Read the cover, the contents page, and the first page of each section. Confirm the stamped numbers match the contents. Open the CSV beside it if a colleague needs the index in a spreadsheet. Only then send the pack by the route your process already uses: the company portal, the client’s secure room, or the email address in the instructions. Sending it there is a choice. Assembling it did not require a copy on someone else’s server.
If the proof panel lists a network request while the pack is built, stop and treat that as a fault. The expected count is zero. You can also switch the network off after the page has loaded and run the same steps. The worker does not need a connection to stamp numbers or write bookmarks.

Phones and keyboards
On a narrow screen the Up and Down buttons wrap under the page label. They stay at least 44 pixels tall. Dragging is optional and is unreliable on many phones, so the buttons are the method to trust. Move file up shifts every page of that document together, which is faster than moving ten pages one by one. If you only need one page from the middle, move that page, or split it out and add it again in the new position.
After a large reorder, download and open the file before you stamp numbers in a second pass. Catching a swapped statement is cheap before the contents page is circulated and expensive after.
